Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel have arrested a drug peddler with 69.5 kilograms of cannabis at Itail Bepari Para village under Jamalpur sadar upazila early Monday.
Arrestee Md Sohag Hossain, is the son of Abul Kashem of the same village.
Acting on a secret information, RAB raided Kashem's house and arrested his drug dealer son Md Sohag with the hemp.
The arrested drug peddler was produced in a press briefing at the office of RAB14 in Jamalpur on Monday afternoon.
A case was filed against the arrestee with Jamalpur sadar police station.
