A medicine trader has been chopped to death by miscreants at Sobujnagar in Joypurhat town.
The body of Tariqul Islam, 32, was recovered from an abandoned nursery beside Panchurchak road on Saturday morning.
Police said miscreants killed Tariqul and left his body near Panchurchak road. Locals noticed the body in the morning and informed police.
Joypurhat sadar police station OC Sirajul Islam said the body was sent to Joypurhat Adhunik Hospital morgue for autopsy.
He said police were investigating the incident.
