Army personnel have recovered huge arms and ammunition from the cache of criminals at remote Kamukkhachhara-Naukachhara area under Dighinala upazila in Khagrachhari district.
Officer-in-charge of Dighinala police station Md Mizanur Rahman said acting on a tip-off army men raided remote Kamukkhachhara-Naukachhara area in the early hours of Monday.
They recovered two SMG, one SMC, 300 rounds of bullets, one grenade and huge military uniforms.
They have also arrested one criminal but couldn't give details about his identity as the searching is going on, he added.
Details in this regard will be informed to the journalists after completing the mission,” said OC Mizanur.
