A team of RAB-3 has seized huge amount of Indian steroids commonly used to fatten up cows in the capital.
The banned steroids worth about Tk4 crore was found in Sundarban Currier Service office near Biman Bangladesh office at Motijheel in the capital around 8pm on Tuesday.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Rabiul Karim of RAB-3 confirmed this to the Dhaka Tribune.
The haulage was supplied in six packets from Jessore.
Drug administration official Saikat Gosh was also present during the seizure of such banned drugs.
He said: “The steroids had been banned in 1981.”
