Two to die for murder in Chandpur

The convicts were Shilpi Begum and Kabir Gazi. According to the prosecution, Shilpi developed an extra marital relation with Kabir Gazi, tutor of her children, after her husband went to Saudi Arabia. In 2013, Kalamtar returned Bangladesh.  On July 7,  Shilpi and Kabir killed him pressing pillow on his face at night while he was sleeping. Later, they buried the body near the house and in the morning, Shilpi filed a disappearance case with Sadar police station. Later, the police recovered the body and arrested Shilpi according to the confessional statement of Kabir. On July 11, Liton Gazi, brother of Kalamtar filed a case accusing Shilpi and Kabir.
