A minor boy was stabbed to death at Ula village in Dumuria upazila, Khulna early yesterday.
Sister of Faisal Mallick, 11, son of Abdur Rashid Mallick, had been in a love affair with the alleged killer, Mizanur Rahman, 25.
Mizanur entered Rashid’s house around 12:30am to meet his lover. Faisal started screaming sensing presence of Mizanur at the house.
At one stage, Mizanur stabbed Faisal indiscriminately with a knife, leaving him dead on the spot.
He also attacked the other family members as they tried to resist him, leaving four of them injured.
Later, locals caught the youth and handed him over to police.
