Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested an accused of firing incident in Magura where a baby was bullet-ridden in the mother’s womb.
The arrestee is Sumon Sen, 30, RAB 4 Commanding Officer Additional Deputy Inspector General Khandkar Lutful Kabir confirmed this to the Dhaka Tribune.
RAB personnel, in a drive, arrested Sumon from a residence of Kallayanpur in the capital on Sunday afternoon, he said.
Sumon, the vice-president of Bangladesh Chhatra League’s Magura unit, is the number one FIR listed accused of firing incident in Magura that killed one person and injured a mother and the baby in her womb.
