A mobile court has sentenced four drug peddlers to two years of simple imprisonment at Naldanga upazila in Natore.
The convicts are Komol Karmakar, Nepal Karmakar, Binoy Karmakar, and Janu Karmakar.
The court also ordered to damage 40,000 litres of liquor seized from the possession of the drug traders.
ASP Atikul Islam, company commander of RAB 5 of Bagmara in Rajshahi, said: "Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB 5 conducted a drive in the area and seized the liquor from the residences of the four drug peddlers."
