Customs officials arrested one with eight gold bars at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport yesterday.
The arrested Omar Faruk, 28, hailing from Feni, landed from Saudi Arabia through Saudi Airlines SV 808 around 12:10pm. He was carrying the gold bars weighing 933gm in a plastic bag, said Md Reyadul Islam, assistant commissioner of Dhaka Airport Customs department.
