RAB have arrested former JCD leader Anisur Rahaman Talukder Khokon and his two associates with a number of crude and petrol bombs from a highway restaurant at Kanaipur of Faridpur Sadar upazila on Monday.
A team of RAB-8 has arrested them in a special drive Md Khaleduzzaman, ASP commander of RAB-8 Faridpur unit told the Dhaka Tribune.
After acting on a tip-off RAB personnel arrested Khokon, 39, and his two associates Md Ali Bhuyan alias Jony, 28, hailed from Gandaria, Dhaka and Md Shohag Gazi, 27, from Shonadanga of Khulna a restaurant name Food Village and Party Palace at Kanaipur on Dhaka-Khulna highway.
They also seized 25 cocktails and 15 petrol bombs from their possession.
The arrestees were handed to Kotwali police station.
There are two cases lodged against Khokon with Poltan and Shutrapur police station in Dhaka.
A case has been also filed against them in this connection, the RAB sources said.
