Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) men have arrested 26 persons with arms and sharp weapons from Lalpur area in Feni.
A total of 15 arms including five foreign-made shot-gun, one foreign made SBBL, five foreign-made pistols, four LGs, 16 choppers, and two Chinese axes were recovered from them around 7pm on Saturday.
Lt Col Miftah Uddin Ahmed, commanding officer of RAB 7, told Dhaka Tribune that a RAB team led by camp commander Major Muzammel laid a check-post in the area.
At 7pm, they found 26 persons with the arms in three micro-buses and they arrested them. The micro-buses were also seized.
Two more micro-buses fled when they were signaled to stop.
