A Dhaka court has accepted the charges against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and 83 leaders and activists of BNP lead 20-party alliance in three violence cases filed with Darussalam police station in the capital.
Judge Md Kamrul Hossain Mollah of Dhaka Metropolitan Session Court accepted the charges against them on Wednesday.
The court has issued arrest warrants against 72 leaders and activists of 20-party alliance showing them fugitives.
In the meantime, the court also ordered to officer-in- charge of Darusalam police station to submit reports within October 18 in the connection.
Beside, the court has granted bail to Khaleda Zia in these cases after hearing the bail petitions filed by Md Sanaullah Mia on behalf of BNP chairperson.
