A Dhaka court on Saturday placed 25 alleged leaders and activists of the activities-banned Awami League (AL) and its front organizations on 10-day remand each in a case filed over a flash procession in Gulshan on Friday.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sarah Farzana Haque passed the order after police produced them before the court and sought 10-day remand for each of them.

According to the case documents, the accused brought out a flash procession on Road 3 in Gulshan-1 around 11:50am.

They also exploded a couple of crude bombs, creating panic in the area.

Police later filed the case under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
