BNP candidate MA Kaiyum has filed a petition with the High Court challenging the results of the Dhaka-11 constituency in the 13th parliamentary election.
The petition is likely to be heard on Thursday by a single High Court bench led by Justice Md Zakir Hossain.
NCP Convener Nahid Islam was declared the winner in the constituency.
Earlier, more than 30 candidates from different constituencies across the country filed similar petitions with the High Court challenging election results.
The court accepted the petitions for hearing and ordered the preservation of ballots and other election materials from those constituencies.
Under Section 49 of the Representation of the People Order, an election tribunal is formed at the High Court to hear petitions over alleged electoral irregularities.
