Highlighting the prevalence of fake cases in courts, Law Adviser Professor Asif Nazrul announced plans to establish a dedicated cell within seven days to provide legal assistance for cases involving families of July Revolution deceased.
He made the statement while distributing financial assistance to hundreds of deceased’s families from the Dhaka division on Monday afternoon.
“There are numerous bogus cases in the courts, and many have even targeted the families of martyrs with fabricated claims to extort money. This must come to an end,” Professor Asif said.
He further said: “The Ministry of Law will set up a separate cell within a week to address legal support for cases concerning the families of the July Revolution martyrs.”
