Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed has announced the reconstitution of two benches in the Appellate Division and 54 benches in the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
The newly formed benches are set to begin their proceedings on Sunday.
In a directive issued on Thursday, the chief justice detailed the bench configurations, which have been published on the Supreme Court's official website, including information on their judicial authority.
After a one-and-a-half-month break, the Supreme Court will reopen its doors on Sunday.
From Sunday, judicial activities will resume in both the Appellate and High Court divisions, marking the continuation of legal proceedings following the court's recess.
