A Dhaka court on Tuesday imposed a travel ban on former lawmaker of the Sirajganj-4 constituency, Tanveer Imam, and his wife, Mahin Imam, over graft allegations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Ash Shams Zaglul Hossain passed the order, granting a plea from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
ACC Deputy Director Mohammad Joynul Abedin filed the plea before the court, while the public prosecutor representing the anti-graft body, Adv Mir Ahmed Ali Salam, moved the petition.
