The High Court has suspended the decision to halt private broadcaster CSB Television, allowing the channel to continue its operations.
The High Court bench, consisting of Justice Kamrul Hossain Mollah and Justice Kazi Zinat Hoque, issued the order on Monday in response to a supplementary application.
Barrister AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon represented the petition in court.
Earlier, Fayyaz Quader Chowdhury, son of late BNP leader Salahuddin Chowdhury, had filed an appeal in court seeking a suspension of the decision to stop CSB Television's broadcasting.
Following that appeal, the High Court issued a ruling, and the supplementary application was filed during the pendency of that rule.
