A Dhaka court on Monday granted bail to BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas in a case filed with Dhaka Railway police station.
Dhaka Judicial Magistrate Julhash Uddin passed the order.
Mirza Abbas’ lawyer Mohiuddin Chowdhury said there is no bar to Mirza Abbas's release from jail as he has been granted bail in all the cases.
On Sunday, Mirza Abbas secured bail in a case of vandalism at Ramna Model police station.
Detective Branch (DB) police arrested Mirza Abbas from Shahidbagh in Dhaka in a case of sabotage on the night of October 31 last year. He has been in prison ever since.
