All rulings published by Bangladesh Supreme Court will be translated into Bengali, said Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique.
He said this after paying tribute to language martyrs at Central Shaheed Minar on Tuesday morning.
The chief justice said: “A new technology has been added to the Bangladesh Supreme Court website so that each ruling can be translated. Through this technology, any person, litigant can translate and read the verdict with just one click.”
He said: “We are working on it so that the judgments that our officials have already written are properly translated.”
The chief justice had launched this new service on Monday.
As a result, from Monday, all judgments issued in English language published on the Bangladesh Supreme Court website can be translated into Bengali by lawyers, litigants or any person with the help of Google.
