The Supreme Court has fixed a new schedule for both divisions of the apex court as well as all lower courts across Bangladesh to save on electricity.
The decision was taken at a full court meeting of the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
From Thursday, the Appellate Division will sit for its proceedings at 9am as usual. Proceedings at the High Court will begin at 9:30am and continue till 2:45pm.
In all lower courts, the proceedings will start at 8:30am and continue till 3:30pm.
