A mobile court has fined two people for arranging a marriage ceremony for an underaged girl in Rajpur Upazila of Jhalakathi.
The father of the bride, Md Iddis Hawlader, and the father of the groom, Md Nasir Mohajan, were fined Tk15,000 each.
The mobile court was carried out by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Mokter Hossain during the ceremony at 9pm on Sunday.
The UNO took the step based on a tip-off.
