BNP leader and former Dhaka South mayoral candidate Ishraque Hossain has secured bail in a case filed over arson.
Dhaka’s Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tofajjol Hossain granted him bail on Tuesday, said his counsel Taherul Islam.

He was sent to jail through court later on the same day.
Police said an arrest warrant had been pending against Ishraque in the case filed over arson attacks carried out on November 12, 2020 during by-election to the Dhaka 18 constituency.
