A Khulna tribunal has sentenced four to life imprisonment for the 2018 murder of an easybike driver.
Judge Md Saifuzzaman Hero of Khulna’s Crime Suppression Tribunal announced the verdict on Wednesday.
The convicts are Md Babu Hossain, 21, Md Jahidul Islam Nayan, 19, Md Faisal Hawladar, 19, and Abu Raihan, 19.
According to the case statement, police found the body of 20-year-old easybike driver Mehedi Hasan Rabbi in the Lobonchora area on August 11, 2018.
Later, Rabbi’s father Abdur Rahim filed a case in this connection.
On January 5, 2019, Sub-inspector Nasir Uddin Molla, the investigating officer, pressed charges against five persons in the case.
