Popular pop singer Mila Islam has lodged another lawsuit against her ex-husband, Parvez Sanjari, and two others for spreading false propaganda against her online.

Mila filed the case under the Digital Security Act at the country’s lone Cyber Tribunal (Bangladesh) in Dhaka on Thursday.

Two other accused in the case are SMR Rahman and Khan Al-Amin, confirmed Shamim Al Mamun, bench assistant of the tribunal.

Upon recording the case and the plaintiff’s statement, the tribunal’s judge, Al Shams Jaglul Hossain, ordered the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit (CTTC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police to submit a report on September 16.

Mila lodged the first case with Uttara West police station on October 5, 2017, prompting Parvez to be arrested.

On June 23 this year, a Dhaka court issued an arrest warrant against Mila as she did not appear before it as a witness, in the case.

Meanwhile, Parvez sued Mila for an alleged acid attack and attempt to murder, in which she is currently on bail.
