BNP leaders Zainul Abedin and Mahbub Uddin Khokon were declared president and secretary respectively for the second consecutive term Friday morning.
Coordinator of the election management sub-committee A Y Moshiuzzaman announced the results.
The election was held in two phases on Wednesday and Thursday. On the other hand, Awami League-backed Sammilito Ainjibi Shomonnoy Parishad secured six positions in the executive committee.
A total of 29 candidates from the two rival panels and two independent candidates vied for the 14 posts.
