According to police, Uttara’s “gang-culture” had become the bane of the youth there. Groups like Nine Star, Disco Boys, and Big Boss initially harassed girls, threw parties, and sped through the area on motorbikes while honking their horns. Eventually, however, they became entangled in rivalries among themselves.
The case is currently under investigation by Uttara West police station Inspector Md Abdur Razzaq.
