Senior Judicial Magistrate Mainul Hasan Yousuf passed the order after a hearing.
Following their arrest, police produced the arrestees before it with a seven-day remand plea Saturday. But the court postponed the hearing till Sunday.
The arrestees are Samiul Islam, 32, Hadisur Rahman, 30, Farid Miah, 70, Ziaur Rahman, 32, Hazrat Ali, 44, and Nabinur Khandker.
So far, police have detained 53 people including the six in connection with the sensational murder.
On Sunday, police detained Ahsan Habibi Masud, a leader of Awami League’s Sundarganj Upazila unit and also former vice-chairman of the Upazila Parishad.
Gaibandha MP Liton was shot inside his Sundorganj Masterpara home by armed assailants on December 31. He died at Rangpur Medical College Hospital after several hours.
