The court of Metropolitan Magistrate Md Sajjadur Rahman passed the order after Inspector Mahbub Alam of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit produced them before the court with a 10-day fresh remand plea.
On December 22 last year, the officials – Engineer SM Rokonuzzaman and junior technician Siddiqur Rahman – surrendered before a Dhaka court in the case. Later, on December 27, another court placed them on a seven-day remand for interrogation.
Seven other Biman officials were also arrested in the same case. They are now in remand.
