What the chief justice wrote in his leave application

Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha has written to the President Abdul Hamid asking a month-long leave from October 3 to November 1 due to his ailment. Bangla Tribune has managed to collect a copy of the application from a reliable source.In the application, the chief justice wrote: “Sir, this is for your kind information that, I have been suffering from various physical complications for the last couple of days.  Earlier, I was under treatment for a long time being affected by cancer. Currently, I am suffering from multiple physical complexities. I badly need some rest for my recovery. So, I wish to avail a 30-day leave from October 3 to November 1. Therefore, I would like to request you to grant my leave and take necessary measures in this regard.” The application was dated October 2. Meanwhile, the apex court was closed due to recreational holiday from August 25 to October 2. The leave issue of the chief justice came to the surface on October 2. Attorney General Mahbubey Alam said the chief justice has taken the leave maintaining all the due measures.
