The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against Ratan Kumar Biwas, a close associate of Prashanta Kumar Halder, better known as PK Halder.
ACC Deputy Director Gulshan Anwar Pradhan filed the case on Tuesday.
According to the case statement, the ACC found that Anan Chemical Ltd Director and Arabic Enterprise owner Ratan had accumulated assets worth Tk5.82 crore beyond the known sources of his income.
On April 4 last year, the ACC served him a notice to submit his wealth statement within 21 work days, which he failed to do.
With this a total of 37 corruption cases have been filed against PK Halder and his accomplices.
