Pakistan take lead in Khulna test

Pakistan have made 537 runs losing five wickets at the end of the third day of the Khulna Test.

Mohammad Hafeez scored 224; his maiden double-hundred in Test cricket propelled Pakistan to take the lead by 205 runs against Bangladesh.

The hosts managed to break the big partnership with the wicket of Azhar Ali.

Pakistan started Day 3 cautiously, and have added another 145 runs on Thursday. Earlier on Wednesday, Pakistan made a strong comeback.

On Tuesday, Bangladesh scored 332 runs in 120 overs against Pakistan in the match. The Tigers could add only 96 runs to their overnight total of 236 for 4 and lost 5 wickets for only 27 runs.

The Tigers dominated Pakistan in the three-match one-day series, completing a 3-0 whitewash. It also won the Twenty20 international.

Bangladesh is yet to beat Pakistan in a Test match after playing eight matches.
