Bangladesh has sent six medical teams and necessary relief materials to help the friendly people affected in a devastating earthquake in Himalayan Kingdom Nepal.
At the directive of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, a C-130 cargo plane of Bangladesh Air Force reached Katmandu on Sunday, said PM's Press Secretary AKM Shameem CHowdhury, reports BSS.
A 34-member delegation, including a representative of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and crews of the air force, carried ten tonnes of relief materials which include medicines, tents, dry food, water and blanket, he added.
After delivering the relief materials, an expert medical team would stay in Nepal to provide necessary medicare services.
