Two farmers have been killed by lightning in Itna upazila of Kishoreganj.
The deceased are Ratan Mia,60, and Qadir Mia, 30, of Taneshawr village.
Itna police station Officer-in-Charge Abdul Malek said Ratan and Qadir were killed on the spot as a thunderbolt hit them when they were returning to their home from a paddy field around 6:30am on Monday.
