The American Embassy, including the Consular Section and the American Centre with the Archer K Blood American Centre Library and the Education USA student advising centre, will remain closed on Tuesday to celebrate the Pahela Baishak, the first day of Bengali New Year. The day is a public holiday in Bangladesh.
An official press release from the US embassy in Dhaka said on Saturday.
Emergency services for American citizens will be available, the release added.
