The bus driver of Faridpur road accident has been arrested from Barisal Sher-e-Bengali Medical College Hospital.
Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Hossain Sarker Bhanga highway police, also the investigating officer of the case, said consulting with the doctor, driver Zakir Hossain was brought to Bhanga police station in Faridpur in an ambulance on Saturday afternoon.
The OC said Md Zakir Hossain is accused in a case filed for reckless driving that caused the road accident in Faridpur.
ASI Momimur Rahman filed the case on April 9 with Bhanga police station.
Driver Zakir will be produced before the court of Judicial Magistrate of Faridpur, the OC said.
On April 9, a number 25 people were killed and 20 more injured as the Khepupara-bound Sonar Tori Paribahan bus from Dhaka crushed into a roadsidetree.
