A total of 134 police officers have been promoted to the posts of additional deputy inspector general and additional superintendent of police.
Ministry of Home Affairs issued a circular in this regard on Tuesday.
According to the circular, 21 superintendents of police were promoted as additional deputy inspector generals while 113 senior assistant superintendents of police were promoted as additional superintendent of police.
