The admission tests for first year degree (honours) courses for the 2014-15 academic sessions at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) will be now held on May 5 and 6.
The decision was taken at the meeting of the admission test committee held at the office of Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AKM Nurun Nabi on Monday afternoon, reports BSS.
Earlier, the BRUR authority had fixed the previously rescheduled dates for holding the admission tests on May 1 and 3 against the first time scheduled dates for the same on December 4, 5 and 6 last year.
Results of the admission tests will now be published on May 13.
According to the varsity officials, a total of 90,402 students have registered them for taking part in admission tests for over 1,200 seats in 21 departments under six faculties in the university.
The admission tests for Unit-A will now be held at 9:30am, at 12:30am for Unit-B and at 3:30pm for Unit-C on May 5, and admission tests for Unit-D at 9:30am, Unit-E at 12:30am and for Unit-F will be held at 3:30pm on May 6.
The admission seeker students can download their admit cards for taking part in the admission tests from the varsity's website from April 20.
