One person has been killed while three others sustained injuries when a tank transporter rammed into a pick-up van in the district's Baraigram upazila on Saturday.
The deceased is pick-up van driver Momin Ali, 25, of Rajshahi.
Monirul Islam, Baraigram police station OC said: “The Jessore-bound military tank transporter from Dhaka rammed into a pick-up van around 10:30am, leaving the driver of the pick-up van dead on the spot and injured three others.”
“The injured fish traders have been admitted at a locals clinic, Amina Hospital.”
