Bangladeshi expatriates in UK held a rally in front of Bangladesh High Commission in London protesting the murder of a blogger Oyasiqur Rahman Babu.
Demonstrators -- including bloggers, politicians and social workers - - were present in the protest rally held on Tuesday afternoon (London time).
The killing within a month of another killing of blogger Avijit Roy is an attack on free thinking and freedom of expression, they said.
They demanded immediate trial of the murders of Rajeeb, Avijit and Oyasiqur.
After the rally, they submitted a protest statement signed with the demonstrators to the embassy.
Members of International Humanist and Ethical Union, Human Rights were present, among others.
Oyasiqur Rahman was hacked to death by the Islami extremists near his residence in the capital’s Tejgaon on Monday.
Blogger and writer Avijit Roy has been killed and his wife, blogger Rafida Ahmed Bonya, severely injured when unidentified miscreants hacked them at TSC of Dhaka University on February 26.
