The HSC and its equivalent examinations scheduled from April 26 to April 29 have been postponed due to city corporations polls in Dhaka and Chittagong.
The decision was taken in a meeting on Sunday, Enamul Kader Khan, deputy secretary of Ministry of Education, confirmed the Dhaka Tribune.
The new scheduled will be informed later, the official said.
The HSC and its equivalent exams will begin on April 1.
The mayral elections to Dhaka and Chittagong Corporations were scheduled to be held on April 28.
