Former Awami League lawmaker Golam Maula Rony has collected the nomination forms to join the upcoming Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) mayoral race.
M M Iqbal Hossain, personal assistant of Rony, bought the nomination paper on his behalf at 12 noon Wednesday.
Rony was arrested in connection with an attempt-to-murder case on July 24, 2013.
