Angry workers have set fire to a bus in protest to the accident that left their co-worker injured in Zirani Bazar area on Chandra-Nabinagar road in Gazipur.
A Pabna-bound bus of Arif Enterprise knocked Shahin down around 7:45am Tuesday.
Shahin is a worker of That's It Knit Composite of Hamim Group and an inhabitant of Pabna district.
Chokroborty police outpost Assistant Sub-Inspector Musharaf Ismail said locals took Shahin to Enam Medical College Hospital at Savar in a critical condition after the accident.
“Angry co-workers vandalised the bus and set it on fire when the news of the accident spread in the area,” he said.
Factory's Assistant Administration Officer Azmal Hossain said Shahin was kept in the hospital's ICU.
