A high school headmaster and its management committee president has been accused of leaking question paper to two persons applying to become teachers at the school.
Naima Akter, one of the candidates for a teaching position at the school under Karimganj upazila, made the allegation to Kishoreganj Deputy Commissioner (DC) SM Alam yesterday. Besides, she also attached a leaked copy allegedly written by Kandail High School Headmaster Musfiqur Rahman with her complaint.
According to her complaint, the high school authorities on Wednesday arranged a recruitment examination for two vacant posts and selected Tania Akter and Abul Kasem as teacher for Social Science and Mathematics respectively.
The headmaster and the Management Committee President Tawhid Miah leaked the exam paper to the two candidates for Tk6 lakh from the candidates.
Kishoreganj Government Boys’ High School Headmaster AKM Abdullah, who attended the recruitment examination as representative from the local director general (Education), said: “We made the question paper on the spot at the examination hall and I am unaware of the leakage.”
Musfiqur Rahman could not be reached despite repeated attempts for comments as his mobile phone was switched off.
When asked, DC SM Alam acknowledged the complaint saying he would take legal action after investigating the allegation.
