Two people have been killed and 40 others injured in a clash between two groups of villagers over gambling in Habiganj.
The deceased are Harisa Bibi, wife of Madhu Miah of Ashera village of Sadar upazila, and Rafiq Miah, 40, who succumbed to his injuries on his way to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College hospital.
Of the injured, 15 were admitted to Habganj Sadar Hospital on Wednesday night.
Officer-in-Charge of Lakhai police station Mozamme Haque confirmed it to the Dhaka Tribune.
