Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged the countrymen to resist the militant activities conducted by the BNP-Jamaat alliance across the country in the name of movement.
The premier made the call while addressing a programme organised by the ruling Awami League on the occasion of 95th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital on Wednesday.
She termed BNP and Jamaat-e-Ialami alliance a platform of terrorism and militancy as they are killing the innocent people hurling petrol bombs. She also termed BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia a queen of militancy.
“She [Khaleda] is a queen of destruction..., a queen of militancy,”said Hasina.
The PM warned that there is no room in Bangladesh for the BNP-Jamaat terrorists and militants to conduct subversive activities.
“BNP Chief Khaleda Zia's only duty is to kill innocent people creating anarchic situation in the country as her aim is to come to power at any cost,”she claimed.
