At least three people have been killed and 20 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Solonga of Sirajganj.
Hatikumrul highway police station OC BM Imdadul Haq confirmed the deaths to the Dhaka Tribune.
One of the deceased is identified as Hamida Begum, 60, wife of Naher Ali, of of Baraibari of Gangachara upazila in the district. The identity of the rest could not be known immediately, the police official said..
The injured were admitted to different hospitals in Bogra and Sirajganj.
The incident took place when a Rangpur-bound bus fell on a roadside ditch after a collision with a truck coming from opposite direction in the area at 3pm on Monday, leaving three on the spot.
On information, police rushed to the spot and took the bodies to the police station.
