Narayanganj fire victim dies at DMCH

A person, who received severe burn injuries in a fire that broke out at the office of a Non-Governmental Organisation at Fatullah, has died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Nasir Uddin, 25, died at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital around 6:30am on Monday.

Partha Sankar Pal, residential surgeon of DMCH burn unit, confirmed the Dhaka Tribune about the death.

He said: “Nasir was admitted to the hospital with more than 60 % burns.”

Six people received burn injuries during the fire that was originated following an explosion at the office of Society for Social Service in Narayanganj on Sunday evening.
