Indian police have arrested the most wanted Bangladeshi criminal Molla Masud in West Bengal of the country.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of police in West Bengal arrested Molla Masud on Sunday, reports BSS.
Meanwhile, Interpol's New Delhi office confirmed Bangladesh police of the matter, according to a press release of Police Headquarters in Dhaka.
The procedure to bring Masud back from India was underway.
Masud was arrested in connection with a case under section 14 of the Foreigners Act filed with Barakpur police station in West Bengal on February 8 this year, it also said.
He was wanted in a number of criminal cases filed with Ramna police station.
The Interpol issued a red notice to arrest Masud, the release said.
