54,481 primary students get scholarships

A total of 54,481 students have been granted scholarships based on their Primary School Certificate examination results.

Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman announced the scholarship result in a press conference at the secretariat on Sunday afternoon.

Among them, 21,983 students who earned scholarships in the talent pool quota will receive Tk200 each per month, while the rest 32,498 students awarded in the general quota will receive Tk150 per head.

Monipur High School and College has received the highest number of scholarship with 145 students.

The results have been made available at the education board’s website www.educationboard.gov.bd.

A total of 26,28,083 students out of 26,83,781 passed the PSC examinations this year. The GPA 5 achievers of PSC examinees this year is 2, 24, 411.
